Lose weight without exercise?
I believe that you do not have to exercise in order to lose weight. In my case, I have always walked for 45 minutes (brisk walk) every day. Exercise did not seem to limit my constant weight gain over the years, let alone helping weight loss. However, as soon as I started OMAD, my body seemed to ask me to do more exercise. First, I started increasing my walking time, but soon I started to do more intense training. I began to enjoy calisthenics and weight lifting for 1 hr or so, and another 1 hr of tennis. Now you might not be inclined to exercise much, but with OMAD you will have more energy.
First, sugar addiction control
To lose weight, the priority should be to bring back our sugar/carb addiction under control. With OMAD, you can continue to eat carbs at first. OMAD produces only one spike of insulin a day. This is what will brings the sugar addiction under control. You may overcome the sugar addiction and the depression that comes after binging or visiting the pantry all the time. If I knew then what I know now, I would have cut the carbs substantially. This way, my body weight loss would have been much faster. Changing lifetime habits is not easy. Keeping our regular foods and exercise routines at first will make it the priority adjust to the OMAD regimen.
This video shows that the OMAD story is very consistent: You do not need exercise, but you do experience a desire to exercise. You may overcome the sugar addiction easily with OMAD. This is because the insulin spike is reduced to one a day. Especially if you reduce the intake of sugar and carbs in general.
