OMAD and Medicine
The New England Journal of Medicine has published a landmark review paper that supports my experiences with intermittent fasting over the last 10 years. I have gone from obese, disease-prone, 53-year-old to an exercise-enthusiast, slim and fit 63 years old with practically no medical issues, no medications of any sort and happy as never before.
Intermittent Fasting and mental and physical performance
The article entitled “Effects of Intermittent Fasting on Health, Aging, and Disease” covers the benefits of Intermittent fasting. It includes the bolstering of mental and physical performance, which I have certainly been experienced and felt inspired by. I am compelled to share my experience with others. But it is a lot easier when the scientific basis for my changes are supported by science. The medical community, represented by this prestigious journal, has taken on this subject. Until now, Intermittent Fasting has been limited to the basic sciences like physiology and nutrition.
Please take a look at the video above and share it with your friends and colleagues. Intermittent fasting in general, and OMAD in particular, will be how we all will eat in the future. The result will be a dramatic increase in the health and lifespan of humans throughout the world.
Beyond health
Health, fitness and mental acuity are certainly desirable for everyone. With OMAD, however, I have found more time to dedicate to multiple endeavors, rather than cooking and shopping for food. I am sure my wife and I are spending less money on food too. When we do cook, we take more care in selecting healthy, low carb foods. Satiety is more easily achieved. Furthermore, I have found more energy for my morning routines of calisthenics, weight lifting, tennis, and hiking. I urge anyone reading this text to subscribe to my YouTube channel.
